(Tumon, Guam) Global tracking models show the possibility that a weather disturbance developing 279 nautical miles south-southeast of Kwajalein may become a storm that moves through the Marianas next week.
Invest 94W, as of 4 a.m. (ChST), was located 1,807 miles south-southeast of Guam. The weather system is in an area of high wind shear and warm temperatures, giving it a moderate environment conducive to further development. Global models are in general agreement that the disturbance will continue to consolidate as it tracks northwestward.
Kandit will be monitoring this one.
