(Tumon, Guam) Afi Aty, who goes by several other names, including “Frosty,” attacked a PayLess Loss Prevention officer with a knife in front of the Dededo store yesterday afternoon.
The victim, who was uninjured, was responding to complaints from customers that Mr. Aty was harassing them in front of the store. He was drunk.
Mr. Aty refused to leave the premises, then quickly swung a pocket knife across the victim’s chest, brushing him with the blade.
Mr. Aty has 10 aliases known to the Attorney General’s Office, and seven birth dates ranging from January 1, 1970 to September 9, 1990. Happy belated birthday to him and his 10 other names.
Prosecutor Alysa Draper-DeHart, in her declaration of probable cause, accuses Mr. Aty of aggravated assault as a third degree felony, with a special allegation of use or possession of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.
