(Tumon, Guam) Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio came out swinging today fighting for an open and free press on Guam and demanding a public apology from the two Adelup officials who muted the press last week during the controversial press conference.

Lt. Governor Joshua Franquez Tenorio

Lt. Governor Tenorio was on the air this morning with KUAM News Anchors Sabrina Salas and Chris Barnett when he was asked about the press conference in which Adelup Staff Assistant Carlo Branch and Director of Communications Janela Carrera stopped the media from asking questions, muted some questions and completely cut off reporters who were not asking favorable questions of Governor Lou Leon Guerrero.

This is what happened at the press conference that shocked the community for its lack of transparency and slap in the face to the freedom of the press.

Carlo Branch and Janela Carrera oversee all communications and press conferences with the Governor of Guam.

Kandit News and the people of Guam anxiously await their public apology.
